Formed in December 2013, The Outfit hail from Custom House in London's East End, the same manor that begat vocalist Jeff Turner's world famous punk band, the Cockney Rejects. Recorded in a studio above Canning Town's legendary Peacock boxing gym, the album features, alongside Jeff, Louis 'Reason' Bowers (son of Tony Bowers, co-owner of the gym) and Wayne Maynard, guitarist with East End Promises. The result is quite a musical departure from the Rejects - rock, punk, synth, soul, reggae, rap, hip-hop, it's all there - but the essential East End sound, edge and feel is definitely here in spades.
